About Walk and Talk Notes

Walk and Talk Notes is an independently operated information site. It publishes plain-English notes on mental health literacy, walking conversations, and inclusive community events. The public name is a placeholder. It is not the name of any campaign.

What this site is not

This site is not the “Let’s walk a mile” anti-stigma campaign, and it is not a website for See Me or for any organiser, hospital, or community group named in historical material about that campaign. It is not operated or authorised by them.

It is not a charity. It does not accept donations, does not fundraise, does not organise registrations, and does not run events.

It is not a medical service, a counselling service, or a crisis service. The notes are general information. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or personal advice. Readers who need personal or urgent help should contact a local qualified professional or their local emergency services. This site does not list phone numbers.

How the notes are written

Practical points are paraphrased from public guidance and linked. Third-party pictures are not republished. The site does not claim a clinical team, a counselling practice, or lived experience that belongs to someone else.

The responsible editor has not issued a later instruction that changes these boundaries. The site follows the written defaults: a non-campaign name, no medical or crisis role, no unverified history archive, and links rather than copied third-party material.

History of the domain

Around 2015 this domain hosted an event website for a Scotland-based walking campaign that challenged mental health stigma. Later years of the domain were used for unrelated material. That history is recorded here so the current site is not mistaken for the earlier one. An archive of specific events is not published, because those records have not been checked against the original pages and dates.

Older addresses that belonged to the event site, including registration and event paths, are not redirected. If a page is not part of this site, it stays unavailable.
